Which psychic powers do you use to entertain?
I perform Psychic Readings, Contact Mind Reading, Psychometry, Metal Bending, and Hypnosis.
Using my intuition, I provide psychic readings and tell fortunes with Tarot Cards. Performed in an engaging manner, sitters are delighted by the accuracy and the psychic experience surrounding the reading.
Using mental focus and channelling the natural energies that exist within us, I also perform demonstrations of the power of the mind. From finding selected people or objects while being in minimal physical contact with a transmitter, to performing impromptu feats of hypnosis and more, I show how little humans really understand about how our brains work. Audiences are mystified by presentations of what we would otherwise consider to be impossible.
Are you a real psychic?
No, I’m not (I don’t think anyone is), but the better question is What makes a Psychic a Psychic?
When I look at good “psychics” I see people who are quick to identify patterns, spot changes in those patterns, and use their life experience or intuition to interpret those changes into meaningful observations for audiences. Really good “psychics” make their performance more engaging by spicing things up with a flair for the dramatic.
Bad “psychics” give readings based solely on how they learned to read a divination tool.
Really bad “psychics” run the range from Bad to Really Good in terms of reading ability, but they add a level of con-artistry to take sitters money. Continuation readings (“I have some really bad news in this reading, but our time is up. If you pay for more time I’ll give you the details.”), curse removal or spell casting that either has a really high one-time payment or a (relatively) low recurring payment, or even pushing sitters to come back for more readings at a high frequency are all examples of how Really Bad “psychics” treat their marks clients.
While I like to think that I’m a Really Good “psychic”, I don’t have supernatural powers. I just pay attention to the things that people reveal about themselves. And everyone reveals more about themselves that they think.
I, like anyone who pretends to be a psychic, pick up on the little things that people don’t know they’re doing. Small nods when they hear something they agree with, a look of confusion if they’re trying to find a connection in the reading, subtle head shakes when I’m way off base. Leaning in, leaning away, arms crossed or uncrossed, we’re always giving signals about what we’re interested in and what we like.
The truth is that we all pick up these signals, not just “psychics”. I use my senses to create an illusion of having psychic abilities, and I use that illusion to create an entertaining environment for people who want to experience demonstrations of psychic abilities.
I’m worried about my health, can you help?
Unfortunately, no.
If you have any health concerns, go see a medical professional first. That goes for both diagnosis and treatment.
Even if you think it’s safe to go to a “psychic” to diagnose a health concern before going to a doctor, you run the risk of asking for tests to check what the “psychic” said, and avoiding the tests that could identify the issue that you’re really having. This wastes time and resources that could be better spent finding and treating an ailment.
I understand that some of us don’t trust science-based medicine, but there is so much evidence that it’s safe and effective. That said, not all doctors are built the same, and some are certainly better than others, but please do your best to find a doctor that you like who seems to have your best interest at heart.
You should only be getting medical advice from medical professionals
